Over 30 years ago, we began working in the South African shade industry. Upon moving to Atlanta in the mid-90s, we began launching plans to open a shade structure company with the focus on customized visually stunning shade sails.  

 

Our dreams were realized with the formulation of Shade-Guard where we combine our  industry experience with artistry and precision.  All our structures offer unsurpassable protection from Nature's elements.

 

Dedicated to designing contemporary, artistic structures while insuring absolute precision with measurements, Shade-Guard uses renowned technology to verify measurements and create detailed patterns.

 

As we closely follow new shade trends, we have invested in thermal powder coating techniques whereby we can handle any lengths and repair on the job site if necessary. With traditional powder coating ovens, once the powder is applied, no changes can be made. In addition, mindful of our commitment to green practices, our process uses less energy and is more environmentally friendly.

 

Following our detailed creation of customized designs,  we contract with experienced licensed architects and structural engineers to ensure code compliance. All fabrication is completed in our St. Louis-based factory. We use no subcontractors which guarantees our personal service from the design stage through final installation.
